Our story began under the cloud of COVID in August of 2020. Brought together by modern technology (the dating app Hinge). Both of us knew pretty early on that something about each other was different. With Devyn’s job at UCHealth, safety precautions allowed us to spend early time in our relationship more intentionally and isolated to the two of us. Falling in love over our shared interests of incredible food, weekends away in the mountains and watching sports. Weeks melted to months and months turned to years.

From football games at Folsom to supporting each other’s changes in career, moving across the country and, of course, welcoming Mikko to our family. Across all this time our love deepened, thanks to many moments and memories shared with all of you.

When we got engaged in January, the excitement of engagement was only outshined by our excitement to spend a weekend with friends in family in one of our favorite places in the world!

We are so excited and appreciative that so many of you will be able to join us for the weekend. And for those who can’t, we know you’ll be there in spirit. Now let’s celebrate!
